You're Invited!

Join us for an evening of sustainability and community as we celebrate green living and explore an inspiring accessibility project!

What to Expect:

- Zero-Waste Picnic: Bring your favorite eco-friendly dinner and dishes for a delightful picnic. Please use reusable containers and utensils to help us keep waste to a minimum. We’ll provide composting bins and there is access to water, picnic tables, and a large covered shelter (for shade or raincover).

- Field Trip to the Accessible Bridge Project: After our picnic, we'll head over to the site of a groundbreaking bridge project designed with accessibility and inclusivity in mind. Learn about the innovative design and the positive impact on the community. We will be joined by the Rideau Valley Conservation Authority and members of their Nature for All committee.

What to Bring:
- Reusable containers, plates, cutlery, cups, and napkins
- Your favorite picnic meal
- A water bottle to stay hydrated
- Comfortable shoes for the field trip
- A hat or sunscreen if it’s sunny or rain gear if it is rainy

Friends and family are welcome to join us.

Let’s make a positive impact together while enjoying a wonderful evening outdoors! We can’t wait to see you there!

NOTE: we will meet at the picnic shelter near Baxter Beach.
