Bread Rescue

Celebrating June with Music and a Farewell
The Together for Thika Concert which took place on Saturday, June 20th proved to be a delightful experience for all who attended. We were thoroughly entertained by all the singers and dancers. To date, approximately $1,455 has been raised for a cookstove project for the Thika Primary School in Kenya, with additional contributions expected. Prior to transferring the funds to Africa, a Zoom meeting will be scheduled with The Rotary Club of Nairobi. Further details regarding this meeting will be provided.
Andre's Departure Gathering which took place on Monday, June 22nd was a great evening filled with laughter and fun as friends and Rotarians celebrated Andre's year as an exchange student in Ottawa. He will return to Brazil with beautiful memories and many new friends. We extend our best wishes for his success in his future endeavors.
