Weekly Meeting - October 08, 2025
Create and Connect with Shalini Nagrani
Shalini moved to Niagara Falls, Canada from Zimbabwe during her high school years and pursued her education at the University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University. In 2018, she moved to Ottawa with her husband and faced the challenge of establishing a new community, which became even more difficult when the pandemic struck in 2020, leaving her isolated at home. After the pandemic, she discovered Rotary Ottawa South, where she found a warm and supportive group of members. Having grown up with Rotary influences from her grandparents, who were active Rotarians, she was familiar with the organization from attending meetings and service projects with them. Currently, Shalini works in the Operations Department at Ottawa Community Housing and runs her own consulting business. An avid hiker, she particularly enjoys exploring Canada's trails and recently had a fantastic hiking experience in Banff National Park, Alberta. We are thrilled to have Shalini as part of our club and look forward to getting to know her better in the days ahead.
