Speaker: Tonya Pomerantz
Tonya has dedicated her life to helping people see their own strengths and potential. She works as the Newcomer Engagement Counsellor with the Pinecrest-Queensway Community Health Centre, an employment specialist, adult educator, mentor, career coach, and podcast host (The Playground Project – Purpose, Plan, Pivot).
She is also the author of Sex, Self-Esteem & Sheer Stupidity: Surviving Your 20s and Beyond and co-author of Unlock Your Future: The 7 Keys to Success.
Known for her warmth, humour, and encouragement, Tonya’s passion is helping others build hope, confidence, and joy.
Tonya is a remarkably dynamic and spirited individual who serves as a source of inspiration for everyone she meets. Listening to her speak and discovering the various initiatives she is involved in within the community was truly a rewarding experience.

Volunteers needed to help deliver Fall Mums!
We are seeking volunteers to assist with the delivery of mums on October 2, 3, and 4. Each delivery route will generate approximately $150.00 for Rotary Ottawa South, making this an excellent opportunity to raise funds for our club while spreading joy within the community.
