Weekly Meeting - October 22, 2025

Polio Plus & Rotary

Every year on 24 October, Rotary Clubs around the world observe World Polio Day to raise awareness of the importance of polio vaccination to protect every child from this devastating disease, and to celebrate the many parents, professionals and volunteers whose contributions make polio eradication achievable. Please see Joan Hunter's Power point presentation below and learn how we can make a difference.

World Polio Day - October 24th, 2026

An event has been planned at City Hall with Mayor Mark Sutcliffe on October 24th at 10:30 am to recognize World Polio Day. If you are able to attend please let Joan Hunter know as soon as possible.

We were pleased to welcome Sarah from the Rotary Club of Nairobi, Kenya at last night's meeting. Sarah has been visiting with Fay Campbell as part of the Rotary Friendship Exchange. Friendship Exchange is an international exchange program for Rotary members and friends that allows participants to take turns hosting one another in their homes and clubs. Fay will be travelling to Kenya on Sunday and Sarah will be her host while she is in Africa. We look forward to hearing all about Fay's adventures when she returns on November 20th. Stay safe dear friend and have fun!
