Rotary Ottawa South gathered at Kalisto Greek restaurant to celebrate our annual Rotary Changeover Dinner. This was a special night to thank our outgoing President and welcome new leadership with full hearts (and full plates!).
We gave a warm thank you to Rosemary, whose dedication and kindness kept us connected and inspired this past year. She was presented with a beautiful orchid as a small token of our big appreciation.
Stepping up as our new President, Tom Batchellor is ready to lead with fresh ideas and infectious enthusiasm — complete with a smart new Rotary tie! Tom shared his goal for the year ahead: to grow our club and make sure we have plenty of fun along the way.
We were joined by special guests: Rotarian Abiodun Owoeye visiting from Lagos, Nigeria, Tom’s wife Melissa, and prospective new member Guido. It’s exciting to see new faces and new friendships forming! This is exactly what Rotary is all about!
Great food, great company, and a reminder that together we can do big things while having a great time. Here’s to a year of growth, service, and plenty of laughs!
