Scott announced that a committee is being formed to review and revise the RCOS website. Put some thought into what you feel should, or shouldn't, be on our website and send your thoughts and suggestions to Scott.
We need to move the items from David's storage locker (thank you David!). Mack, Peter and David will move the items to Jeff's basement, using one of Browns Cleaners vans. (Thank you Mack, Peter, David and Jeff!)
Club Discussion
Dave and Chris went over their plans for the Rotary Club of Ottawa South Golf Tournament 2021. It will be a 9-hole tournament on Monday, September 20 at Emerald Links golf course. The beneficiaries will be CHEO Youth Mental Health and RCOS.
After a year hiatus, many people will be looking forward to golfing and socializing (as much as COVID permits at that point in time). The club will need all members to help out. Dave and Chris are looking for assistance on the committee, and all members are expected to help with:
selling Tee signs
promoting the tournament and finding foursomes (or individual golfers)
sourcing items for auction/prizes
volunteering the day of

As Rotarians, we determine where funds are allocated through District Designated Funds, which we can use for local or international projects. When we contribute to our Foundation we are promoting worldwide Peace and Understanding.
