Announcements

  • Community Blend Coffee  Dave and Scott have made five presentations to other Rotary Clubs in the area and have a sixth presentation lined up for next week. Two clubs have already placed orders. Excitement is building and orders are starting to come in for our coffee.
  • Membership Update  Kateri reported that all members will be receiving an official notice from President Dave with the proposed changes to our constitution and bylaws.  We are proposing three new Active membership types in our club, Family Membership, Corporate Membership, and Service Associate Membership. Upon receipt of the official notice please read and become informed of these new changes.
  • Golf Tournament June 6  There was a productive discussion regarding our tournament on June 6The Registration form and participation letter are at the top of the list for action items. Chris and Rosemary will meet tomorrow to discuss revising previous material and get this information out to potential golfers ASAP.
    All members will need to be involved to make this tournament a success. Speak to Chris to let him know how you can help out.
    A big thank you to Surgenor and Campinelli Construction - first confirmed foursomes for the tournament.
  • District Conference 2022. May 4, 5, 6, 7  Our speakers and workshops will be uplifting and motivational.  They will focus on building body, mind, and soul - resilience, nutrition, exercise, fun, and friendship.
     Elsie Morden’s presentation is entitled “No time for That.”  She will provide insight on how to overcome adversity and be your best self in a world full of endless demands and expectations.
     As a Holistic Wellness Coach, Kristy Whyte works with people who are interested in making changes to their health and wellbeing. Her goal is to empower you with the tools, knowledge and strength needed to make practical and lasting changes toward a healthier lifestyle.
     Dr. Vera Etches is the Ottawa Medical Officer of Health.  It will be interesting to hear directly from her how the past year and a half has impacted our communities.
