Guest Speaker
Our guests spoke on Women Global Engagement.

This organization was started by a group of women in Ottawa who wanted to make a difference.  They opened a school and a guest house in M’Bour, Senegal. At the school the girls learn sewing and cooking skills and with these skills they can start their own businesses or work in the hotel industry. The guest house is listed on AirBnB and it helps keep the school running.

Their motto: Together, learn to take action.

The objective is to strengthen the entrepreneurial and social power of women. The school has been in operation for almost two years and there will be 70 girls graduating this July.
