Bernie and the golf committee is looking for Tee sign sales and auction donations.
Gary suggested that our club get involved in tree planting, perhaps 50 – 60 trees at Rotel and Rotary Home properties. Peter P is going to look into getting seedlings from the city.
Carlo informed us that 21 people have reserved for dinner at the Yangtze restaurant Thursday April 5 evening. Please let Carlo know if you’d like to go.
Saturday, April 21 is the Somali Hope Foundation annual gala. Tickets are $80. We’d like to support this event with a couple of tables, speak to Ian asap if you’d like to go.
RC Ottawa West is hosting the 16th Annual Music for Humanity concert Sacred Space Chapel – Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Saturday April 7, 2018 from 7 - 9 pm.
We have a busy period with Mothers’ Day Roses sales, and sponsorships, auction items and ticket sales for the golf tournament and Polo in the Park Ottawa – all hands on deck!
Rosemary handled the 50/50 draw today. There is only $60 in the pot, so Sam let Gary win the initial draw. With diamonds in his eyes, Gary drew a ten. So the pot will continue to grow.
