Lunch meeting was held at KS on the Keys Scribe: Scott Vetter
Guests
- Guest Speaker was unable to attend, so we dealt with some Club business.
Announcements
- Mack MacGregor had several free tickets to give away for this weekend's Wedding Palace Bridal Show.
- Mack also has a box for the Ottawa Sens vs. Calgary January 26 game. It's worth $4,000 and he's taking offers; contact Mack directly if you are interested.
- Dave Gough gave us an update on Gary Pluim. His surgery went well and he is recuperating nicely. Everyone was glad to hear so, and wished Gary well.
- Ian Warrack informed us that Bob McMichael died recently. He was a long-time RCOS member from the 60s and 70s; he was 100 years old.
- Meeting next week is at KS on the Keys. DG Nabil Oudeh is speaking, so be sure to show up and bring a friend or prospective member.
- Members voted to give $5,000 to both beneficiaries of PITPO (Wabano and TROtts). A cheque presentation luncheon will be scheduled.
Happy Bucks
Joan Hunter invited us to share our stories of happiness and gratitude; and charged us a buck a piece to do so.
50/50
Hector Allen was master of ceremony for our 50/50 draw. Jacques won the ticket draw, but drew a Jack not a Joker.
President Peter White ended the meeting promptly at 1:30pm.
