St. John Ambulance has no budget in place for this critical mission.
 
Rotarian Serge Malaison, who is Chairman of the Quebec Council of the Order of St. John appeals to every Club and Member of the District for funds for volunteers leaving for Haiti to supply emergency aid. The estimate need is in the order of $250,000 and no funds exist for this emergency action by the volunteers, mostly from all over Quebec because of the language. Their needs include food, medical supplies ans equipment. Donations should be made out to: St-John Ambulance, Project Haiti and can be sent to the attention or Rotary Club of Montreal, 1145 Union Avenue, Montreal (QC) H3B 3C2.
