- Bernie Ingimundson reported that the golf tournament netted $56,000 this year! Congrats and thanks to the Golf Committee and all who helped.
- Polo in the Park Ottawa update:
- everyone should start putting on a push to tell people about the event and actively sell tickets (tickets in advance are $15 rather than $20 on-site) Try to sell 10 tickets this week.

Joan Hunter coaxed glad tidings (and loonies) from our members.
50/50
Ian Warrack presided over our 50/50 draw. Reg Francis had teh winning ticket, but the fingered teh Queen rather than teh Joker, so the pot thickens.
Presentation on Junior Achievement Ottawa
Dawn Cooper intorduced Albert Wang from the Ottawa Network for Education. He administers teh Junior Achievement program in the Ottawa area and it is active in all school boards. The program offers needed introduction and education in finance, buisiness and entrepreneurship to high school students.
Maria Artuso from the RBC has been involved for over ten years. She spoke highly of her volunteer expereince and the gratitude she received from mentoring students.
Guillaume AUger is a past participant and current student at University of Ottawa (Accounting). He thoroughly enjoyed his experience and credits it with opening his eyes to the importance of finance and the allure of entrepreneurship.
Jacques Laquerre thanked them all for their impressive presentations, and presented them with teh prestigious RCOS mug.
President Peter ended the meeting promptly at 1:30pm.
