  • Changeover Night will be held at Sam’s, June 29 at 6pm. Club will pay for a steak and potato meal. BYOB
  • Changeover Night. We are preparing a slideshow for the evening. Please send photos that you have of meetings and events over the past year to Scott. (scottv@prosar.com). Now.
  • RCOS was the top contributer to the Polio Plus campaign for April!
  • Bernie: The Golf Tournament, June 6, foursomes are sold out. Let John know if you can volunteer. Let Jacques know of any Tee Sign sales. Let Bernie know of any auction items.
  • Dawn: Nabil Oudeh (DG Elect) has invited everyone to his changeover night at St. Elias on Wednesday June 22. Cost is $35.
  • The Board has agreed to send $1200 to the Salvation Army for its Fort MacMurray relief fund.
  • We have agreed to sponsor Rotaract of Ottawa South member Jeff Parkerhouse for a Youth Leadership program in Washington. He will present to us in fall.
  • Strawberry Social – Saturday June 18 at Emerald Links: fundraiser for our refugee family
  • Next Meeting: June 1 at the Hunt. Paul Leduc - CEO of Survivor-Society.ca will be our guest speaker.

Hector Allen strolled among the tables requesting our happy thoughts with an air of distinguished ceremony.
 
50/50
It was the Hector Allen show today, Hector presided over the 50/50 draw. Reg had the winning ticket, but lucked out when trying to draw the Joker. Pot currently sits at $310.
 
Presentation on the Snowy Owl Aids Foundation
Dave Gough introduced our speaker.
 
Lise Turpin was an engaging and passionate spokesperson for the foundation that she and her family started in memory of her brother. The goal of the Snowy Owl AIDS Foundation is to establish, build and maintain a financial resource available to organizations dedicated to AIDS education, prevention, direct or support services, primary care, and/or expansion or enhancement of existing services.
