- District Conference: Oct 28 - 29 It's in Ottawa this year so buy your tickets and enjoy a district conference at a great price.
- Peter asked for interest in pursuing involvement in Junior Achievement. Would require 3 - 4 people for 2 - 3 hours per week for approx 4 months. There was sufficient interest to look into it further.
- Monique provided a Polo in the Park Ottawa update:
- everyone should start putting on a push to tell people about the event and actively sell tickets (tickets in advance are $15 rather than $20 on-site) Try to sell 10 tickets this week.

- Need volunteers for set-up and take-down (approx 10 people for each - contact Monique

Scott showed great interest (it was an act) as he collected loonies as club members' spouted on about what they were grateful for this week.

Hector manned the cards, and Dave manned up with the winning ticket, but the Joker evaded him. (All those men and no Joker?!) The pot sits unofficially at $185.

Monique introduced Robert Campbell from the Ottawa Polo Club.
Robert gave an informative and enthusiastic explanation of Arena Polo, the field, equipment and some of the strategy involved in playing the game. He helped us to appreciate what is involved, and shared some of his passin for the sport.
Joan thanked Robert and presented him with Championship-worthy RCOS mug.
President Peter ended the meeting promptly at 1:30pm.
